Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as cleaning the church, to preparing the church bulletins.

Men’s Ministry

Proverbs 27:17 says that iron sharpens iron just as a man sharpens the countenance of his friends. Men joining together in prayer, bible study, and fellowship provides opportunity for growth and spiritual development. Our Men’s Ministry meets on the first Sunday of every month at 6:00 pm.

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play instruments. Some are vocalists. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God. We, as a whole, try to play an eclectic mix of old and new christian and gospel music, keeping the focus on worshiping God.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are recorded in CD and DVD format and uploaded to our website in video and audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feed for additional church communication.

Children & Youth

Children and Youth are said to be the church of tomorrow but we believe that this age group is a vital part of the present day church. It is crucial to invest in them now so that they develop a relationship with God while they are young. We offer our KidzJAM involving high-energy, big-impact worship on Sunday mornings and we have bible class for all age groups on Wednesday nights. We also have special performances throughout the year to keep children of all ages involved.

Ladies of Faith

Proverbs 31:26 states that, “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. Our Ladies meet monthly for bible study, prayer and support. The short bible studies are applicable to the lives of today’s women, including mother’s, wives, friends, and daughters. Get together with friends, gain wisdom, enjoy snacks and coffee, and gain a closer personal relationship with Christ. Ladies of Faith meetings happen at the church on the 2nd Sunday of every month at 5:00 pm.

How Can I Serve?

To be a leader means to serve. Even the Son of Man, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Prince of Peace, sent his son to serve. “And whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:44-45) Jesus extended this same rationality to his disciples. “And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, ‘If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all'” (Mark 9:35)
If you want to be a disciple to others, you can start with serving our church and our community. Ask a hostess or usher today how to get started in ministry by getting involved in our Next Steps series.
